INSIGHT
For the release of Wes Anderson’s "Asteroid City," Focus Features transformed Landmark Theatres Sunset into a fully immersive experience, recreating the fictional town from the film. Over three weeks, our team of 8 people meticulously built four distinct areas—the Houses, Concession Stand/Diner, Booths/Stands, and Crater Stage—using a $100K budget. The project demanded efficient time management, strategic resource allocation, and close collaboration with the film's production team to ensure every detail authentically reflected Anderson's signature style.
The event was a resounding success, drawing large crowds and significant media attention. Visitors were captivated by the level of detail and the opportunity to step directly into the world of "Asteroid City," making it a standout example of how immersive experiences can effectively generate buzz and excitement around a film's release
